While his use of vibrant colors and various painting styles are visually stimulating, his thoughtful choices about which books to place together provoke contemplation. The artist leaves collectors to ponder where these tomes might be found: a museum curator’s office, a child’s bedroom, a professor’s study, a musician’s studio.
